Jerry Charles Simpson. age 63 of Warrenton, MO was born April 28, 1945 in Oregon County, MO and passed away March 23, 2009 at the St. Joseph Health Center, St. Charles, MO. Jerry graduated from Alton High School in 1963. In 1964 he was united in marriage to his wife of 44 years, Margaret Louise Presley. Jerry retired in August of 2007 after working for 38 years as an electrician. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, union Local One. Jerry attended the Faith Christian Fellowship Church. Survivors include; his wife Margaret Louise Simpson of the home, two sons, Chris Simpson and Kenny Simpson, both of Warrenton, MO, one daughter, Cindy Lowing and husband Rick of O’Fallon, MO, three grandsons, Ben, Alex and Jayden, one sister, Nora Sue Hollis of Kansas City, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Charles Simpson and Bonnie Allmon Simpson, both of Oregon county, MO and two half sisters. Services will be 2:00pm Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Many Springs Church with Bro. David Case officiating. Interment will follow in the Many Springs Cemetery, under direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. |
