Frank Allen Madden, age 88 of Thayer, MO, was born September 26, 1920 in Oregon County, MO and passed away February 26, 2009 at Shady Oaks Healthcare.

He was united in marriage to Alice Jane Hines in 1948, which survives. Other survivors include; two daughters, Barbara Powell and husband Clarence of Thayer, MO, Deborah Miller of Thayer, MO, three sons, Leonard Franklin Madden of Mammoth Spring, AR, Robert Madden and wife Kelly of Mammoth Spring, AR, Clifford Madden and wife Loretta of Thayer, MO, two sisters, Marie Williams of Anniston, AL and Margaret Hudson of Olathe, KS, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Mary Madden, three brothers, two sisters and one son.

Services will be 2pm Sunday, March 1, 2009, in the Clary Funeral Home chapel in Thayer, MO, with Bro. James Lee Reed officiating. Interment will be in the Norman Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00-8:00pm at the Clary Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
