Mildred Helen (Kibbie) Ward-Phillips, was born May 25, 1942, and passed away January 20, 2009, at the age of 66.

She is survived by: her sister, Wanda Bowman; her children, Brenda Pankey, Carry Ward, Patricia Stevens and husband Shawn Stevens, Beverly Ward, and Billie Ward; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded by: her sisters, Louise Kurly and Leona Lothridge; her parents, Beverly William Kibbie and Carry Kibbie; a grandson, Bobby Wilcox; her late ex-husband, Homer Ward, Jr.; and late husband Russell Phillips; a step son, Larry Ward; and her good friend Matt Pankey.

Mildred loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She owned Friendly Cab for 18 years, and she also loved to shop. She will be dearly loved and missed by everyone who knew her.

Family night was held at 5pm Saturday, January 24, 2009, after which Ms. Phillips was cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
