Betty Norma Jean Buckner, age 61 of Alton, MO was born February 19, 1947 in Winona, MO and passed away November 15, 2008 at her home. Survivors include; three sisters, Ann Conner and Wanda Baney of Alton, MO, Carol Tinker of Pacific, MO, two brothers, Gene Buckner and Bobby Buckner, both of Alton, MO, her good friend and roommate, Carol Sue Thomason, and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jack and Mary Gertrude Buckner, three brothers, John Wesley Buckner, Melvin Buckner, Elvin Dwayne Buckner, one sister, Ina Mae Buckner, and a few nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:00am in the Clary Chapel with Bro. Mark Hodge officiating. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. |
