Lucy Pearl Greer Johnson, age 93 of Alton, MO was born December 9, 1914 in Oregon County, MO and passed away October 22, 2008 at the Ozarks Medical Center.

She was united in marriage to Noel B. Johnson on March 3, 1935. To this union brought their family of six boys and one daughter. They lived on a farm East of Alton their entire lives. Lucy was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a very loving person, housewife who was known for her canning and quilt making. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include; Mary Booker and husband Harriell of Independence, MO, Doyle Johnson and wife Alice of Couch, MO, Dale Johnson and wife Barbara of Alton, MO, Harlin Johnson and wife Wanda of Alton, MO, Garlin Johnson and wife Mary Lou of Wappapella, MO, James Johnson and wife Ruth of West Plains, MO, Phillip Johnson and wife Ruby of Birch Tree, MO, two sisters, Edith Sisk and husband Cleo of Buckner, MO, Elizabeth Hogan of Oklahoma City, OK, 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Willie and Chloe Greer, her husband, Noel, one sister, Lois, three brothers, Roy, Robert and Raymond, one great-grandson, Hayden Lynn and one daughter-in-law, Shelby.

Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 25, 2008 in the Clary Funeral Home Chapel, Alton, MO, with Bro. Ralph Orr and Bro. Jr. Andrews officiating. Interment will be in the Lance Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Calvin, Kenny, Joe, Bobby, Mark, Randy, Michael Johnson and Steve Adcock.
