Lavetta Irene Wiggs, age 97 of Alton, MO was born June 4, 1910 at Big Apple, MO and passed away June 3, 2008 at her home. Survivors include; one son, Edwin Wiggs and wife Nella of Alton, MO, two daughters, Freda Dunkin and husband Hanford of Bellflower, MO, Ruth Berry and husband Bill of O’Fallon, MO, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents Douglas and Laura Nicholas Vincent, her husband Leamon Wiggs, two daughters Eleanor Dodson and Cecelia Pingleton. Services will be Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Clary Chapel with Bro. John Lewis Casey officiating. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel. |
