William Leamon Bridges, age 82 of Doniphan, MO was born March 25, 1926 near Greer, MO and passed away May 24, 2008 at the Current River Nursing Center, Doniphan, MO.

Survivors include; nine children, Barbara Carter and Harold Bridges of Doniphan, MO, Ronald Bridges and Nancy Gearhart of Hunter, MO, Phyllis Luttrell of Grandin, MO, Charlotte Whorton and Catherine Perkins of Springfield, MO, Rosemary Woods of Mountain Home, AR, Freda Thomas of Petersburg, IL, one brother, Ralph Bridges of Doniphan, MO, four sisters, Louise Switzer and Maxine Leonard of Doniphan, MO, Eula Gilliespie of Ava, MO, Esther Giddens of Iberia, MO, 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, William Bridges and Stella Sisco-Bridges, his wife, Nancy Helen Waggoner-Bridges, one brother, Norman Bridges.

Services will be Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Clary Chapel with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
