Gary Michael Erath, age 57 of Cherokee Village, AR was born November 2, 1950 in Aurora, IL and passed March 26, 2008 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Gary graduated from Marmian Military academy, and then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam. Following his military service he attended Waubonsee Community College, Fresno State University and University of California San Luis Obispo. Gary and his wife lived for many years in Cayucos, CA, relocating to Cherokee Village AR several years ago.

Survivors include: his wife Lucy Nelson Erath; his parents, Lawrence (Ellen) Erath and Audrey (Robert) Knighton, all of Cherokee Village, AR; one sister, Lynne (Styhen) Corrao of Joliet, IL; stepson Christopher (Kimberly) Nelson; granddaughter, Ruby Nelson; and numerous other relatives and friends.
