Dorothy Alma Stogsdill, age 97 of Alton, MO was born June 10, 1910 near Alton, MO and passed away December 23, 2007 at the Shady Oaks Healthcare Center, Thayer, MO.
Survivors include three children, Icie Morgan and Wayne Stogsdill, both of Alton, MO, Phyllis Simpson of Gatewood, MO, one grandson, Lonnie Morgan of Alton, MO, three great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jasper “J.P.” Wheeler and America Piercefield-Wheeler and her husband, B.C. Stogsdill.
Services will be Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at 11:00am in the Clary Funeral Home Chapel, Alton, MO, with burial in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will Wednesday from 10:00am until service time.
