Verda Christine (Bridges) Cochran, age 91 of Koshkonong, MO, was born October 8, 1934, in Alton, MO, and passed away May 20, 2026. Survivors include: her husband of almost 53 years, Charles Cochran; 2 daughters, Romona Hampton & husband Robert of Thayer, MO, Nicole Haynes & husband Brandon of Thayer, MO; 2 sons, Robbie Puccetti of Mammoth Spring, AR, and Randy Puccetti of West Plains, MO; 9 grandchildren, Stacey Richey, Marty McBride, Ragan Bragg, Shawna Tibbits, Clinton Puccetti, Hattie Haynes, Hudson Haynes, Hallie Haynes, Haven Haynes; several great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Arlene Birmingham, Judy Jones, Cathy Crass, and Dennis Bridges; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded by: her parents, Clint and Glyna (Alcorn) Bridges; her first husband, Robert Pucetti; her siblings, Donnie Bridges, Fern Gwaltney, Joe Bridges, Carson Bridges, Phillip Bridges; 1 daughter, Rhonda Melton. Christine was the best cook in Oregon County, who loved to fish, garden and sew. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. John Holesapple officiating, and burial following in the Bailey Cemetery in Alton, MO.
