Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Milnes, age 87, of Rogersville, MO, was born December 17, 1938, in Thomasville, MO, and went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2026, in Springfield, MO. Kenneth was united in marriage to Geneva Ann “Betty” Milnes on January 6, 1958. Together they built a life centered on family and love. From this union, they had two sons, Randy Lee Milnes and John Anthony “Tony” Milnes. He is survived by his son, Randy Milnes and wife Michele of Rogersville, MO; his granddaughters, Katie and Addie; great-granddaughter, Aurielle Walker; and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He shared a special bond with his granddaughter Addie, including a secret handshake that will forever be treasured as a reminder of their love and connection. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geneva Ann (Betty) Milnes; his son, John Anthony “Tony” Milnes; his parents, John and Daisy (Fisher) Milnes; his stillborn sibling; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Kenneth will be remembered as a man of strong faith, sharp wit, and a stubborn streak that showed his strength and determination. Whether known as Kenny, Scrappy, or Papaw, he left a lasting mark on those who loved him. His memory will live on in the laughter he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely to his family. Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Thomasville Baptist church in Thomasville, MO, with Bro. Charles Trantham and Bro. Andy Trantham officiating, and burial following in the Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be 12pm-1pm just prior to the service. |
