Mary Sisco, born on July 22, 1945, in Thayer, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 31, 2026, in Alton, Missouri. She was 80 years old. Mary was the daughter of the late Roy and Lucille Bell. She grew up in Missouri and carried her deep roots in the community throughout her life. A devoted member of Riverton Baptist Church, Mary found strength and solace in her faith, which guided her through life’s joys and challenges. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Sisco; her brother, Gary Jacobson; her sister, Letha Bell; and a great-grandchild, Cole Patterson. Despite these losses, she remained a source of love and support for her family and friends. She is survived by a special friend, Boyd Bates; her sister Janet Armas(Larry); and her four children: Patty Patterson, Tina Bates (Rick), Randy Sisco, and Andy Sisco. Mary’s legacy lives on through her eight grandchildren—Jozy Bates, Jessica Bates, Chantel Patterson, Clay Patterson, Tammy Bates, AJ Sisco, Kandis Sisco, and Tyler Sisco—and seventeen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends who cherished her presence. Mary’s life was one of devotion to family and faith. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her. May those who loved Mary find comfort in their memories of her enduring kindness and unwavering love.
