Cynthia Kay Scott, 75, of Alton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 5, 2026. She was born April 16, 1950, in Huntington, Indiana, to Jim Scott Sr. and Gerry (Johnson) Scott. Cynthia was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim and Jerry Scott, and her parents. Cynthia is survived by her sister-in-law Brenda Scott, nieces Josey and Shawnee Scott, many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many great friends. A talented and creative soul, Cynthia had a lifelong passion for painting, drawing, and coloring. She loved growing flowers, enjoyed watching hummingbirds, attending her family-owned livestock auction, and helping on the family ranch. A memorial service will be held at Clary Funeral Home in Alton, Missouri, on March 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CST. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and legacy.
