Pamela Jo Friend, age 56 of Alton MO was born December 31, 1969 and passed away February 15, 2026. She was united in marriage to Darren Friend on February 26, 2012. She loved to go to church, fishing and yardsaling with her mother Kay Bates. She loved both of her sons very much and was extremely proud of the men/fathers they became. She enjoyed spending time with all six of her grandkids, they were her world and she loved them with all of her heart. Pamela also had a very special nephew and niece, Steven Embry and Maddison Ford, helping to raise them after her sister passed away, two special aunts, Rita Wheeler and Vera Lue, she loved them with her whole heart and they loved her. She also loved her stepfather, Tommy Hoozie. Pamela had a big heart and helped everyone she could. She was extremely loved and will be missed very much. Pamela had Survivors include her husband Darren Friend, mother Glenda Kay Bates of Alton, MO, two sons Shane Padgett and wife Courtney, Brandon Padgett and wife Beth, six grandchildren Paton, Katie, Bree, Ethan, Landon and Lexie, special nephew Steven Embrey and niece Madison Ford. She was preceded in death by her father Danny Littles, two sisters Sheri Kay Littles and Rena Lynn Ford. A service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Bailey Cemetery.
