Cora Ellen Caldwell was born July 13, 1947, in St. Louis, MO. Cora had 5 sisters, and 6 brothers, and Johnny Pyles is the last living sibling. Cora married Scottie Caldwell and together they had 5 children: Wesley Caldwell, Melba Croney, Daniel Zook, Scottie Caldwell Jr., and Andrew Caldwell. Preceding her in death were her parents, Audra & Leonard Clark; husband, Scottie; her son, Wesley and his wife Diane Caldwell; and daughter, Melba, who passed away the same day as her mother on July 18, 2025. Surviving children are Daniel Zook, Melba’s husband Mitchell, Scottie Caldwell Jr. & wife Traci, and Andrew. Grandchildren Mary Lauren Niermann, Danielle & Skyler Chronister, Scottie Caldwell III & Kenda, Jale Zook & Sawyer Patterson, Blake Caldwell, Matthew Gembala, Michael Gembala, Leslie & Daniel Skaggs, Allicia Clark, Mary Croney & Phillip Stephenson. Great Grandchildren: Everr Niermann, Haven Maddeaux, Wylder Cagle, Harper Chronister, Sage Chronister, Silas Stearns, Thomas Skaggs, Danielle Skaggs, Jackson Lawler, Sierra Stephenson and Rozella Stephenson. Graveside services will be 4pm Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Myrtle Cemetery in Myrtle, MO, with Bro. Joe Garrison officiating.
