Shana Tabitha Bivins was born the daughter of Bobby Joe "Pops" Bivins and Joyce Arnold Bivins, on April 13, 1970, in Salem, AR. She departed this world surrounded by loved ones on September, 2, 2024 in Springfield, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, oldest brother Bobby Bivins "Peanut" Jr, and dear friend Joyce Shepard.

She is survived by her siblings, Teresa and Roy Burk, Patricia Grimes, Timothy and Theresa Bivins, Nathan Bivins, John and Donna Bivins, Judy Johnson and fiance Craig Washam, Bob Grimes and far too many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends to list or count.

Shana was by nature the most caring person. A woman with a servant’s heart, ready and willing to help anyone. She continued giving with her final act of being an organ/tissue donor. She was the epitome of "to know her was to love her". She was a passionate Chiefs fan and forever a loyal Thayer Bobcat! She could be found at any Bobcat sporting event supporting the students as if they were her own. Nothing however was as important to her as family. She loved each and everyone of them. She especially loved taking care of the children and having the little ones over for sleepovers. "Na" as they called her was her greatest title and honor.

She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and the impact she had on people will only become more evident in the days to follow.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00pm Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO with funeral services 3:00pm Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO and burial at Thayer Cemetery.
