Glenda Gail Smith, daughter of the late Garland B. Middleton and Geraldine Delk Middleton was born May 20, 1952 in Sallisaw, OK. She entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2023 at the of 71 years. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Ervin L. Smith of Couch, MO, two children Lajunia Johnson of Couch, MO, Garland Smith and wife Missy of West Plains, MO, four grandsons and four-great-granddaughters, one brother Dallas Middleton of Alton, MO, five sisters Jill Shaw and Genetta Hensley of West Plains, MO, Donna Morrison of Alton, MO, Tammy Kszywienski of Camden, TN, Linda Sweet of Portageville, MO, three sisters-in-laws Rhonda Middleton of West Plains, MO, Pam Middleton of Litchfield Park, AZ, Catherine Hollis of Alton, MO, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Roger and Garland Middleton, sister-in-law Becky Middleton. Glenda was a great homemaker, loved to sew. She willbe loved and missed by all. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Bailey Cemetery with Bro. Edward Casey officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
