Esther Lucille Shehorn was born October 11, 1934, in Alton, MO, departed this life August 21, 2022 at the age of 87. She married, had 2 sons, Glenn and Tom, who have both preceded her in death. She helped raise her grandson, Craig, who also preceded her in death. She spent her working years in Pleasant Valley, MO, most of which were at Jack Miller Oldsmobile, where she took care of all the paperwork in the service department. She loved her job and all of her “boys” looked at her as a second mom. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Shirley Barton, nieces Jennifer Beasley (Jim), Terri Barton (Marty), nephews Mark Barton (Vicky) and Marlin Shehorn (Mary Kay) and numerous other relatives. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Barton and Rosalind Ralston Barton, her brother, Don Barton, her sons, Glenn Allen and Thomas Craig and her grandson, Craig. Graveside services will be held at Cave Springs Cemetery on Tuesday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. David Langston officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
