Jerry E. Simmons , age 72 of Alton, MO was a very special and loved brother, Dad and Poppy. He was born on March 16, 1950 in Poplar Bluff, MO. to Louie and Ruth Simmons. He left his earthly home April 18, 2022 in Houston, MO. Survivors include his wife Rose, his Brothers, Luke (Becky) Simmons, Sam (Penny) Simmons and Calvin (Mae) Simmons. His Sisters, Jenesce (David) Shepard, Jenelle ( Gary) York, and Jenette( Greg) Kirkpatrick. His children Jimmy Simmons, Patty (Mark) Atkins, Cindy (Rickey) Todd, Jerry Junior, John (Katie) Simmons and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, brothers Charles,Van, Elven sister Jenene, daughter Ann, son Carroll Gene and granddaughter Annber. Graveside services 2:00pm Friday, April 22, 2022 at Bailey Cemetery with his nephew, Dustin Kirkpatrick officiating.
