David Brown died unexpectedly at Hickory Grove on January 6th in Oregon County, Missouri, near where he grew up and lived most of his life, at the age of 67. David is survived by his two sons, Justin Wayne Brown of Elkland, Missouri and Jonathan Andrew Brown of Willard, Missouri and five grandchildren, Michael, Cole, Maddax, Kynlee, and Colton, and six siblings, Charles Brown, Margaret Blanton, James Brown, Jackie Bull, Tricia Carter, Brenda Brooks, and numerous other relatives and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Inez, and his brother, Junior Brown, and sister Janet Fletcher. David was born on December 29th in West Plains Missouri. He graduated from Alton High School in 1972. After high school, David worked building asphalt pavers and airplane parts first in St. Louis, Missouri, and then later in Wichita, Kansas until 1982 when he moved back to Oregon County, Missouri where he spent the rest of his life. David worked as a plumber, a carpenter, a logger, and a farmer. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for January 9th, 2021 at 2PM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Alton, MO.
