Survivors include; his wife Lillian, two sons, Wayne and wife Lorane, Aaron and wife Holly, two grandchildren, Athena and John, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Lee Carter and Georgia May Hocking Carter.
