Geraldine Tidwell slipped gently into the arms of Jesus on September 22, 2020. She was 85. Born and raised near Cartersville, Georgia, she moved to Myrtle, MO 4 years ago with her daughter. She attended Myrtle Free Will Baptist. Geraldine lived a long life filled with Faith, Family, Friends and love. She lived at Shady Oaks Nursing Care Home the last few years where she was loved and cared for by many. Geraldine loved to attend bible study, church services there and was known to sing all the time. She was choir director at her home church in Georgia for 30 years. Geraldine’s family here include her daughter, Deborah (Alvin) Reynolds of Myrtle, MO. Her Grandson Wesley (Lori Beth) Stubbs, their children Kadence and Grady of Mammoth Spring, AR. Another Grandson, Blake (Tabitha) Stubbs, their children Paisley and Scout of Alton, MO. She is also survived by a son, a daughter and 4 grandchildren all of Cartersville GA. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, September 28, 2020, at the Parnick-Jennings Funeral Home in Cartersville, GA. She will be laid to rest at Macedonia Baptist Church, Cartersville Georgia.
