Burial:
David Arthur Milburn, son of Arthur and Lois Milburn, was born July 26, 1948, in Rochelle, Illinois and went home to be with his Lord on June 26, 2020, at the age of 71. At the time of his passing, David was a resident of Shady Oaks Health Care in Thayer, Mo. He was married to Jacqueline Rae Morgan on August 2, 1969, in Rockford, Illinois & celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2019. Mr. Milburn worked as a machinist, was an EMT, worked for the Oregon, Illinois, sheriff's department, & was the captain of his local fire department in Rockford, Illinois. He was also employed as a truck driver, a manager for Radio Shack in Iowa & Illinois, & retired in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Jackie, 2 sons, Michael and wife Dorothy of Dixon, IL, and Mark and Jen of Polo, IL, two grandsons, Logan and Justin of Illinois, one granddaughter Janette of South Carolina, two great-grandsons, Braden and Jordan of South Carolina, 2 brothers, Ben Milburn of Seward, Ill., Robert Milburn of Love's Park, Ill., 5 sisters-Linda Dickinson of Rockford, Ill., Evelyn Vann of Denver, Colorado, Judy Ann Milburn, Nancy Rollins and Diana Milburn, all of Byron, Ill. There are other relatives & friends too numerous to list. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, John & 1 sister, Mary Emmerling. Mr. Milburn was a United States Army veteran with a medical discharge in 1967. David was a member of First Baptist Church in Alton, Mo. A memorial service will be held at the church on July 11, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to David’s family.
