Joe Dean Cantrell, age 75 of Thayer, MO, was born January 28, 1945, in Myrtle, MO, and passed away peacefully at his home May 20, 2020. Survivors include: 3 daughters, Tammy Anderson & husband David, Vicki Hurst & husband Rick, Lynette Veazie & husband Lee; cousins Harold & Becky Cantrell; 1 nephew, Bob / Mary Wartenbe; 1 niece, Kim / Karl Schmitz; 12 grandchildren, Jarred Anderson, Alicia Richter, Blake Hurst, Julie Hurst, Jared Hurst, Melissa Cantrell, Randi Cantrell, Rikki Cantrell, Mason Cantrell, Hailey Cantrell, Aleea Veazie; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Walt & Edith (King) Cantrell; 1 sister, Ruth Wartenbe; 1 son, Tony Cantrell. Graveside services will be 2pm Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Myrtle Cemetery in Myrtle, MO, with Bro. Joe Garrison officiating. There will be a come and go visitation 11am-1pm Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
