James Allen Cozort, age 69 of Thayer, MO, was born August 8, 1950, in Thayer, MO, and passed away September 14, 2019, at his home. Survivors include: his soulmate, Florence, of the home; 1 son, Tory Cozort; 4 sisters, Patsy Perkins, Linda Boone, Bonnie Martin, and Brenda Martin; 4 brothers, Jay Collins, Freddie Harris, Clyde Martin, and Scott Zierman; and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded by: his parents, James K. and Ruby (Barnett) Cozort; 2 sisters, Martha Corter and Debbie Martin; 2 brothers, Richard Corter and Wilbert Martin. Funeral Services will be held 10am Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. James Martin officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 9am-10am Wednesday prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. |
