George Gray Ball, Jr., 78, passed away at home on January 1, 2018. Born in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas October 24, 1939 to the late George and Ruth Ball. George has been an area resident of Akron, Ohio for the past 8 years. He was a Banking Lender and had over 50yrs in the banking industry working for various institutions before his retirement. He had served on numerous civic organizations and was a CASA volunteer as well. George was a member of Maranatha Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Gilmore); daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Dennis Houchin; son, Randy; brother, Buddy (Virginia Jones) Ball; grandchildren, D. Wayne (Frania), Richard (Lauren), Kristina (Joseph) Mullisand, and Taelor; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, and Aurora. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Riverside Cemetery, Mammoth Spring, AR. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Mammoth Spring, AR.
