Garry Lynn Simpson, age 65 of Alton, MO was born July 8, 1952 in Bay, AR and passed away July 15, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; his wife Shelia, three grandsons, Dexter and Derek Durbin, Dalton Duncan, four brothers, David, Chris, Jackie and Ted Simpson, one sister, Tracy Thomas and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Earl Simpson and Rivers (Hastings) Simpson Moss, two daughters, Amanda Durbin and Beth Duncan, two brothers, Randy and Gale Simpson, one sister, Joyce. Garry was employed with the City of Alton for over 23 years, much of that time overseeing the City’s Waste Water Treatment Plant. Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO, burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
