Kimberly Theresa “Kim” Hensley, age 46 of Alton, MO was born November 6, 1970 in West Plains, MO and passed away February 17, 2017 at Shepherd’s View Residential Care, Alton, MO. Survivors include; her mother Teralyn Hensley, sister, Robin Holman and husband Billy, nephews, Tanner and Tyson Holman, many aunts, uncles, cousins, workshop co-workers, staff and residents of Shepherd’s View, church family and many other friends. Preceding her in death was her father Gary Hensley, her grandparents, Godfred and Dorothea Herzog, Ben and Notra Hensley. Kimberly’s life was filled with all of the things she loved. She accepted Christ as her Savior at a very young age and lived the rest of her life as a faithful Christian. Kimberly’s life was enriched through her extended families at church, Sheltered Workshop and Shepherd’s View. She loved music, movies and watching her nephews Tanner and Tyson playing their sports. Her life was a testimony of living in complete honesty and simplicity. A memorial service will be 2:30 pm Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Bailey Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Darrell Strain officiating. The body will be cremated, with burial at a later date in the family plot at Cotton Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon County Sheltered Workshop, Shepherd’s View Residential Care or The Alton School Foundation.
