Edith Evelyn Wilson, age 90 of Alton, MO was born September 25, 1926 in Charlotte, NC and passed away January 30, 2017 at West Vue Nursing Center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; one brother, Edgar J. Wilson and wife Marlene of Alton, MO, one sister, Joan Hobbs and husband Ira of Alton, MO, five nieces and nephews, Donna Askew, Mike Wilson, Lana Boone, all of Charlotte, NC, John Wilson and Audrey Purcell, both of Alton, MO and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were parents, Lawrence Wilson and Ila Baker-Wilson, two brothers, C. Everett Wilson and Harry Wilson, a sister, Anna Wilson, a nephew Larry Wilson. Evelyn was of the Christian faith, a true servant of God and had a heart of pure Gold. Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Brad Holman, Jon Knochenmus and George Lee officiating. Visitation will be 10:30-11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. |
