Franklin Farris Barton, age 77 of Pomona, MO was born March 23, 1939 in Alton, MO and passed away October 12, 2016 at Ozarks Medical Center. Franklin was untied in marriage to Ola Mae Hall on June 2, 1960, who passed away on February 9, 1998. To this union five children were born. On June 24, 2006 Franklin was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Wilbanks. To that marriage four children came into the family. Survivors include, his wife Barbara of the home, his mother, Anna Barton of Peace Valley, MO, brothers Randell (Marilyn) Peace Valley, MO, Ralph Barton Moko, AR. a sister, Naomi Ballou West Plains, MO, his children, Susan Barton West Plains, MO, David Barton California, Marilyn Sue Woodward West Plains, MO, Anthony Barton (Jarica) Willow Springs, MO, Larry Decker (Cathy), Bennie Decker, West Plains, MO, Rick Decker Georgia, Donna Decker Pomona, MO, grandchildren, Kelly Coughlin (Jessi) Texas, Casey Coughlin West Plains, MO, Ben Decker of Pomona, Thomas Wayne Decker, Amy, Christina, Steve, and Amber, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ola Mae Hall-Barton, father, Ralph Franklin Barton, two stillborn siblings, sister, Winnie Rose Hankins and husband Nobe, brother, Billy Charles Barton, brother-in-law, Art Balou, daughter, Janice Michelle Barton, great-grandson, Colt Andrew Coughlin. Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO, with burial in the Bailey Cemetery.
