She is preceded in death by husband Doyle, her parents and two sisters. Pallbearers today are Nathan Arnold, Brian Arnold, Jason Arnold and Brandon Shields. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Arnold and Melvin Barton.

Norma Jean Arnold loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She loved animals and being outdoors. Norma was very proud of, and enjoyed celebrating, her Cherokee Indian heritage. Family was light of Norma’s life. She loved caring and providing for her family, and thoroughly enjoyed their time together. Norma had a heart for her community and many times was the helping hand friends and neighbors needed.
Above all, Norma loved the Lord. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a founding member of the Lula Full Gospel Church. Norma frequently spoke of her faith and shared it with others. During her last days of life, Norma told everyone she saw that she was going home to see Jesus – and they better make sure they were ready to go too.

Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Nathan Arnold, Bro. Ralph Orr and Bro. JR Andrews officiating. Interment will be in the Huddleston Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
