Frank Edward Carpenter, age 86 of Couch, MO was born May 6, 1929 in Avery County, North Carolina and passed away January 8, 2016 at his home. Survivors include; his wife Glenna of 63 years, three children, Janice and husband Arthur of Couch, MO, Frank Dennis of Alton, MO, Phillip of Odessa, TX, two grandsons; Thomas of Laramie, WY, Caden his “Little Buddy” of Odessa, TX, one sister, Betty and husband Bill of Amarillo, TX, one brother, B.T. of Matthews, N.C., one sister-in-law, Judy, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward McCoy and Pansy Lee Carpenter, three brothers, Dewey, Claude and Cline, two sister-in-laws, Laura and Verina. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Huddleston Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverways Hospice or St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
