Geraldine Patricia “Gerry” Taylor, age 76 of Thayer, MO, was born November 5, 1938, and passed away September 2, 2015, at her home. Survivors include: her husband Joe, of the home, to whom she was married 54 years; 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Jesse, Zachary, and Ian; 1 son-in-law, Dirk Shultz of Thayer, MO; 2 sisters, Pipsi Smith of Mammoth Spring, AR, and Mary Fields of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Irene (Broga) Alvord; 2 daughters, Sandy Shultz and Rhonda Hovey; and her brother, Bobby Alvord. A memorial service will be help 10am Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Erman Croney officiating. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Friday, September 4, 2015, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
