Notra Louise Williams-Eccles age 91 of Alton, MO was born December 28, 1923 and entered Heaven’s gates January 29, 2015. Survivors include; her son Eric Eccles and wife Delores, two granddaughters, Tina Quinn and husband James and Liz Sanders, one great-granddaughter, who was the light of her life, Emily Quinn, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by; her husband Alex Eccles, her parents, John Lewis Williams and Emma Darr-Williams, two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Orbie Williams and wife Parlie, and Henry Williams and wife Georgia, one sister and brother-in-law, Artie Delana and husband Richard, two nieces, Louis Barr and Shirley Dale Walters. Notra was a retired office worker, having worked in several states and locally at Thayer Bank and Shady Oaks Healthcare. She was of the Baptist faith, having accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of thirteen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 20 years, serving many of those as a Sunday school teacher. Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Alan Perkins and Bro. Don Tabor officiating, burial in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.
