Doris June Barton, age 74 of Alton, MO was born May 22, 1940 in Holton, Kansas and passed away January 26, 2015 at her home. She is survived by her husband Dophus “Doc” Barton, four children, Kathy Barton, Gene Barton, Mike Barton and Shawn Barton, three step-children, Denny Ray Barton, Judy Barton and Twaina Reason, one sister, Betty Hansen, 25 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Clara DeVore and three brothers, Bob, Earl and Ernest DeVore. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, January 31, 2015 with services 1:00 pm Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Following the service, the body will be cremated, with burial at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, either given to the family or left at the funeral home.
