Erman Glen Whittington, age 88 of Alton, MO was born September 9, 1926 in Webb City, AR and passed away October 28, 2014 at his home. Survivors include; three children, Peggy Lynn Hull and husband Richard, David Glen Whittington and wife Yvonne, Leslie Don Whittington and wife Ronda, three sisters, Glenda, Vivian and Ruth, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, three step-daughters, Judy Holman, Cynthia Adrian and husband Butch, Susan Huddleston and husband Jim, six step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Auburn Euclid Whittington and Meda Hall Whittington, two wives, Thelma Ann Nicholas Whittington and Helen Warren Whittington and a brother, Enid. Glen was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas in Germany, and retired from the Kroger Grocery Company as a meat cutter. Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Charles Trantham officiating, burial in the Bailey Cemetery.
