Lyle Mac Bates, age 66 of Alton, MO was born June 21, 1948 in Thayer, MO and passed away October 17, 2014 at his home. Survivors include; his wife Tina Sisco Bates, three children, Melissa Bates, Sheila Bates and Tammy Lager and husband Cody, four brothers, Boyd, Danny, Floyd and Richard Bates, three sisters, Sally Sisco, Patsy Campbell Hahn and Cathy Ridenhour, eight grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lyle Bates and Elsie Morrison Bates, one sister, Anita Wilcox, two brothers, Joe and Bobby Garnett Bates. Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Edward Casey officiating. Interment will follow in the Huddleston Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
