April Penny Lamb, 51 of Alton, MO, passed away October, 2, 2014 at her home, after losing her battle with cancer. Born April 1, 1963, the daughter of Emmett “Tom” and Cora Harter-Hamm in Taylorville, IL. She later moved to Missouri and made that her home. She leaves to mourn, one daughter, Amy Jo Lamb of Salem, AR, one son, Rodney Bell Lamb and wife Mistie of Alton, MO, six grandchildren, her father, Emmett Hamm of Grove City, IL, six brothers, Roy and wife Patsy, Joe and wife Julie, Bobby, all of Grove City, IL, Danny and wife Donna of Pekin, IL, Freddie and wife Mary Illiopolis, IL, Billy and wife Debbie of Springfield, IL, four sisters, Martha and husband Norman Swinger of Grove City, IL, Dorothy and husband Fred Parmenter of Camp, AR, Patty and husband John Mahan of Illiopolis, IL, Mary and husband Sonny Riech of Springfield, IL,, special friend, Alejae Sicily of Alton, MO and many other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were; her mother, Cora Hamm, brother Thomas “Bean” Hamm, three other Siblings and two nephews. The body will be cremated with no local services planned. Burial will be in Illinois at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
