Blanche Laura Lou Murphy, age 86 of Ash Flat,AR was born November 3, 1927 in Piggott, AR and passed away August 4, 2014 at the White River Medical Center, Batesville, AR. Survivors include, two daughters, Sue Hancock and Joy Kunkel, four grandchildren, Cheryl Foley, Lisa Ladd, Peggy Haney and Paula Fredrick, eight great-grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Jordan, Logan, Hope, Easton, Lauren and Lindsey, two great-great-grandchildren, Scarlet and Lucas, three brothers, Joe, Herschel and Jackie Taylor, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Taylor and Ora Kester Taylor, her husband, Floyd Murphy, two brothers, Arthur and Ralph Taylor, four sisters, Mary Rose, Ruby Cotham, Ruth Melton and Marie Wood, and one great-grandchild, Carly Ladd. Graveside services will 2:00 pm Friday, August 8th, 2014 at the Thayer Cemetery, with visitation Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO.
