Timothy Edwin Whitten, age 61 of Poplar Bluff, MO was born December 20, 1951 in West Plains, MO and passed away October 3, 2013 at the Brent B. Tinnin Nursing Home, Ellington, MO. Survivors include; two brothers, Larry Whitten and wife Joyce of Van Buren, MO, Lynn Whitten of Dixon, MO, three nieces, one nephew and other family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his father Newman Whitten, November 22, 2001 and his mother Tressie Mildred Whitten, January 11, 1996. Timothy was disabled from birth and lived most of his life in extended care facilities. His family wishes to thank the Staff and Management of Southeast Missouri Residential Service for the care that was given to Tim for the past that he lived on the hill.   Graveside services will be 10:00am Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery, North of Alton, MO, with Bro. Jim Cooper officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
