Emma Lou Casey, the daughter of the late Charles Edgar Whitten and Samantha Jane Bailey Whitten, was born July 4, 1929 near Alton, MO and passed away October 1, 2013 at Shepherds View, Alton, MO at the age of 84 years. Survivors include; her husband John Lewis Casey, four children, Tammy and Dwight Holmes, Brant and Angie Casey, Monty and Christy Casey, Edward and Theresa Casey, nine grandchildren, Shane, Brandon, Travis, Jon, Crystal, Travis, J.C., Chad and Merinda, eight great-grandchildren, Amber, Gracie, Braden, Gavin, Madison, Tommy, Owen and Brooke, two brothers, Charles Whitten, Joe Whitten, two sisters, Georgia Williams and Carolyn Johnson, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Frances Huddleston, Hazel Reed, Nancy Stanley and June Williams. Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Edward Casey officiating, interment in the Riverton Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from noon until service time. Pallbearers will be the nine grandchildren.
