Dennis Willie Walters, 61 of Myrtle, passed away June 22, 2013 at his home. He was born September 25, 1951 in Peach Orchard, Ar. to Bill and Earnestine Walters. He was united in marriage to Linda Hight in Thayer on November 1, 1969, she survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Denise and husband Chad, and a son, Denny and wife Cathe. As well as seven grandsons; Michael, Cody and wife Tiffany, Daniel and girlfriend Brianna, Wyatt, Troy, Clayton, Tanner and one great-grandson, Cameren. He is also survived by ten brothers and sisters; Marsha and husband Ronnie, Gina and husband Donald, Judy and husband Calvin, Donnie, Tony and wife Susan, David, Glen, Kim Reed, Benji and Jody, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carolyn, a brother Darrell and his loving pet Violet. He enjoyed golfing with his wife and friends, hunting, sitting around a campfire, working on old cars and bowling. He was also employed with Leon’s Logging in Mammoth Springs, Ar. for several years. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. June 26, 2013 with services immediately following at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, Mo. Burial will be at the Falling Springs Cemetery.
