Harold Lloyd Renfro, 57 of Alton, MO, died suddenly on Dec. 24, 2012. He was born in Forrest City, AR, July 11, 1955. He was a hardworking, fun loving, caring gentleman that devoted his life to his family and friends. He lived in Valley View, IL, with the love of his life Cathy for 27 years. They moved to Alton, MO, 8 years ago after finding their dream home. Working for Local 150 as a heavy equipment operator for 25 years, he retired 2 years ago. Harold enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his land and spending time with his grandson Ryan. Harold always had a smile on his face for everyone, he will truly be missed by many. Surviving are his wife, Cathy (Ross) Renfro, daughter Stacey (Clyde) Gendreau, grandson Ryan Stewart-Melissa Ellsworth (Fiance), mother Joyce (Hollis) Fair, step-father Rocky (Kayla) Chism, sister Peggy (Tim) Smith, brothers Michael Ray Chism, Bobbie Don Chism, Wayne Chism, Paul Crowder, Tony Crowder. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Homer and Agnes Renfro, aunt Doris Renfro, aunt Lois Brown, cousin Ronald Jones, the Roger Sykes family. There will be a celebration of life 3pm Saturday, December 29th, 2012, at the Eagles Club in Thayer, MO (1478 Nettleton Avenue). Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
