Lucy Ellen (Johnson) Rackley, age 93 of Thayer, MO (formerly of Alton, MO), was born April 5, 1919, in Alton, MO, and passed away July 12, 2012, at the Shady Oaks Healthcare Center in Thayer, MO. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Sandra Elder of Thayer, MO, and Carla Montgomery and husband Darryl Schneider of Arnold, MO; 4 grandchildren, Sheila Puccetti, Robin Eberts, Vincent Elder, and Bevin Seward; 1 brother, Alfred Johnson of Granite City, IL; and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Carl Rackley; her parents, Albert and Anise (Bennett) Johnson; 2 sons, Lonnie “Red” Rackley, and Roy Lee Rackley. Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with burial to follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery in Alton, MO. Visitation will be 5pm-7pm Friday, July 13, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
