Edward Lee Collins, age 67 of Alton, MO, was born February 7, 1944, in Nubbin Ridge, AR, and passed away November 8, 2011, at his home. Survivors include: a special friend, Letha Collins; 8 daughters, Mary (Liz) Collins, Brandy Johnson, Janet Bridges, Charolett Padilla, Lisa Rodrick, Laura Richerson, Jean Collins, and Terry Smith; 4 sons, Andy Collins, Cleo Collins, Brad Stacey, and Tim Collins; 3 sisters, Donna Collins, Maybelle Askew, and Bonnie Cantrel; 3 brothers, Junior Collins, James Collins, and Gary Collins; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Cleo and Ethel (Henson) Collins; 2 sons, Steven Collins and Dwayne Clements; and 1 brother, Tracey Collins. Services will be 2pm Thursday, November 11, 2011, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Family night will be 6pm-8pm Wednesday, November 10, 2011, at the Clary Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
