Jimmy Lance “Bubby” Gatewood, age 24 of Alton, MO, was born November 16, 1986, in West Plains, MO, and passed away June 18, 2011. Survivors include: his mother, Tammy Jackson and husband Cecil, of Alton, MO; his father, Jim Gatewood and wife Ginger of Alton, MO; 3 sisters, Rhonda Cue and husband George of Mammoth Spring, AR, Heaven Jackson of Alton, MO, Ashley Hollis and husband Greg of Alton, MO; 5 brothers, Teddy Gatewood of Mammoth Spring, AR, Simon Gatewood and wife Shelli of California, Brandon Adams of Alton, MO, Corey Adams of Alton, MO, and Austin Adams of Alton, MO; 1 step-sister, Danielle Ferguson of West Plains, MO; 1 step-brother, Jackson Ferguson of Indianapolis, IN; his maternal grandparents Peggy Upton and Jack Collins; a nephew, Kagen Hollis; a niece, Makenzie Hollis; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandfather, Johnny Spencer Upton; his paternal grandparents, James and Irene Gatewood. Funeral Services will be 2pm Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at the Smyrna Freewill Baptist Church in Alton, MO, with Bro. Kelly Johnson officiating, and burial following in the Smyrna Cemetery. Family night will be 6pm-8pm Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the Clary Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
