Willa Dean (Stevens) Grinkavitch, age 75, was born November 26, 1935, in Vero Beach, FL, and passed away January 15, 2011, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. Survivors include: one daughter, Cheryl Grinkavitch of Gamaliel, AR; and 1 son, Alby Grinkavitch and wife Susan of Thayer, MO; 1 grandson, Eli Grinkavitch; 1 granddaughter, MaGae Grinkavitch; 2 great-granddaughters, Lillian and Isabelle; 4 sisters, Jo Holmes of Mico, FL, Ruby Lewis of Starke, FL, Gwen Nichols of Deltona, FL, and Minnie McNeal of Vero Beach, FL; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceeded in death by: her husband, Edward Joseph “Ted” Grinkavitch; her parents, Oliver and Cornelia (Sapp) Stevens; 1 son, Steven Grinkavitch; and 8 brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, January 27, 2011, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Thayer, MO, with Father Joe Weidenbenner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
