Jimmy Stairs, age 72 of Alton, MO was born May 14, 1938 in Oregon County, MO and passed away December 16, 2010 at his home. Survivors include; his wife Edna of the home, two daughters, Crystal Kendall and husband Edward of Harrison, AR, Vicky Weldin and husband Edwin of Alton, MO, one son, David Stairs of Springfield, MO, three grandsons, Derek, Doyle and Jacob, one granddaughter, Sierra, two brothers, Jerry and wife Mary, Joe and wife Paula, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul “Buddy” Stairs and Matrid Cockman Stairs, one sister Virginia and one brother, Don. Services will be 2:00pm Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. JR Andrews officiating with visitation 6:00-8:00pm Saturday. Interment will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
