Noril Dean Smith, son of Noril Edward Smith and Katy Louise Christen, age 57 of Thayer, MO was born July 23, 1952 in Mammoth Spring, AR and passed away May 1, 2010. He was united in marriage December 2, 1983 at West Plains, MO to Fay Johnson, who survives. Other survivors include; four children, Jr. Dean Smith Hamilton and wife Terri and their 10 children of La Cross, WI, Kristy Lane and daughter Savannah of Branson, MO, Michael Smith of Mammoth Spring, AR and his children Dakota, Latzke, Austin and Sabrina Smith of Richmond, MO, Deanna Smith and Aaron Cauble and their daughter Zoie Cauble of Koshkonong, MO, one brother, Richard Smith and wife Maire of Ozark Acres, AR, three sisters, Dorothy Sprouse and husband Onan of Corning, AR, Jeanetta Moore and husband Clint of Horseshoe Bend, AR, Mary Weiand and husband Tony of Ash Flat, AR, father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Evelyn Johnson of Thayer, MO, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by mother Katy Smith, grandmother Alphi Kneedler and one niece, Shannon Wise. His hobbies were racing stock cars, drag racing, camping and hunting. He was of the Baptist faith, a devoted husband and father, and will be truly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services will be 10:00am Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Clifton Cemetery, visitation 6:00-8:00pm Monday at the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
