June Edwards, age 77 of Alton, MO was born April 27, 1932 in Hobson, MT and passed away October 17, 2009 at the Brookehaven Care Center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; her husband Howard Edwards of the home, one son, Jerry Edwards of Kansas City, MO, one sister, Sadie Benningfield of Quitman, TX, two half sisters, Lois Cates and Joyce Barton and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jody and Dorothy Hollis, one son, Larry Edwards, one grandson, Ryan Edwards, two brothers, Herman Don Hollis and Eugene Hollis, three sisters, Ruby Tucker, Reva Watson and Noretta Belamy. Services will be 10:00am Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. John Lewis Casey and Bro. Edward Casey officiating, visitation 6:00-8:00pm Monday. Burial will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
